For Matambila Karima Chuunga, the ICTAZ 2024 ICT Awards were more than just trophies, they were a testament to dedication and excellence. She took home two prestigious individual awards: Cybersecurity Excellence Individual Award and Outstanding ICT Professional Award.
ICTAZ CEO Chellah Silavwe personally delivered her well-earned certificates at UBA HQ (Acacia Park), highlighting the Association’s pride in her achievement.
He emphasized that bridging the digital divide remains a top priority for ICTAZ, making her recognition even more significant.
Reflecting on the moment, Matambila shared how honored she felt not only by the wins but also by the presence of key mentors who shaped her career, ICTAZ Fellow Christopher Lalusha and her personal inspiration, Dr. Gertrude Mwangala Akapelwa.
She also applauded the integrity of the awards process, reinforcing the credibility of the honors.
