The Memorandum to the Parliamentary Select Committee on Media, Information and Communication Technologies of the National Assembly of Zambia by the ICT Association of Zambia Outlining the Ramifications of the Proposed Independent Broadcasting Authority Bill N.A.B No. 27 of 2025 was submitted on November 18, 2025.
The ICTAZ delegation included President Dr. Clement Sinyangwe, Vice President Dr Sera Mbewe, Committee Member (Operations) Ms Malita Kabukabu Ng’andu, CEO Chellah Silavwe, as well as members Sokoni Chipili and Abel Bihinda.
The session held at the Parliament Buildings was chaired by Honourable Ms. Melesiana Phiri (committee vice – Milanzi MP) and attended by Honorable Mr. Walusa Mulaliki (Senanga MP), Honorable Mr Elias Daka (Musanzala MP) Honorable Mr. Sydney Mushanga (Bwacha MP), Honorable Mr. Andrew Lubusha (Chipangali MP), and Honorable Mr. Stanley Kakubo (Kapiri Mposhi MP) in attendance.
