The Information and Communications Technology Association (ICTAZ) is a corporate body established through the Information and Communications Technology Association Act No.7 of 2018 with a mandate to register and regulate ICT professionals in the country.
ICTAZ would like to inform the general public that, following the publication of Statutory Instrument (SI) No. 76 of 2024, the ICTAZ (General) Regulations, 2024, the annual subscription fees have been revised upwards.
Additionally, we would like to remind the public that, in accordance with the ICTAZ Act No. 7 of 2018, it is a legal requirement for individuals to be registered with the Association and hold a valid practising certificate in order to practice ICT in Zambia. Please note that practising certificates are valid for one calendar year and expire on 31st December of each year.
It is illegal under the ICTAZ Act to engage any individual, consultant, company, or firm to provide ICT services unless they possess a valid ICTAZ membership and practising certificate. Therefore, all practitioners and companies offering ICT services are required to register with the Association and obtain their membership and practising certificates upon payment of the applicable fees.
