The Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia participated in the 16th Graduation ceremony at Mulungushi University in Kabwe, where the best performing students in Computer Science, Luswepo Silumbwe and Ms Chimuka Kasumo, were recognized for their outstanding achievement.
A prize gift of ZMW1,500 was awarded to the Best Graduating and Best Female student in Computer Science. The gifts were presented by ICTAZ Committee Member – Operations Ms Malita Ng’andu Kabukabu.
The ICTAZ Council Member also addressed an ICTAZ Chapter meeting held on campus.
In her address, she shared insights into the role of the ICT Association of Zambia in supporting professional growth. During the interaction they explored the future of ICT, discussing emerging trends and how students can proactively prepare to excel in the industry.
She emphasized that, while academic knowledge forms a solid foundation, real-world readiness requires going beyond the classroom. Leveraging additional resources, staying updated on evolving technologies, and engaging with ICTAZ’s offerings can be game-changers in building a competitive edge.
